Reseller User Guide

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new Reseller Program here at Intelliprint! Our Reseller Program allows you to offer our innovative hybrid mail service to your customers on your own domain, with the pricing model that you set. Whether you’re looking for a new way to grow your business, or simply want to offer an additional service to meet the needs of your clients, our Reseller Program makes it easier than ever before.

How it works

  • We’ll White Label the intelliprint service to match your brand
  • Run the Intelliprint service on your own custom domain. An important tool in building your brand and creating a professional presence online.
  • Set your own pricing for your customers by adding a markup to the standard Intelliprint pricing
  • Allow users to sign up to your platform and submit documents for mailing. We’ll take care of all the printing and postage

White Label Settings

This is currently managed by the Intelliprint team.

During the setup process, we will ask you to provide the following information.

  • Brand Name
  • Dashboard Domain – This can either a domain or sub-domain and is the URL your white labelled version of Intelliprint will run from.
  • Dashboard Accent Colour – Used for highlighting buttons etc.
  • From email I.e. [email protected] or [email protected] – used to send transactional mail to your users I.e. When new users are added.
  • A Company Logo

Requrired Domain Settings

Running the Intelliprint service on your own custom domain is an important tool in building your brand and creating a professional presence online. Our team has made this process exceptionally simple, allowing you to quickly and easily connect your existing domain to our platform.

We just require two CNAME records to be added to your domain name settings (DNS) these will be provided to your during your account setup.

Required Email Settings

In order for us to send transactional mail on your behalf, we require two DKIM records to be added to your domain name settings (DNS) these will be provided to you during the setup process and are used for:

  • new signup emails,
  • submission confirmation emails
  • login emails etc.

Pricing

When it comes to pricing, one of the most important things to understand is that it’s all handled by a markup. This means that instead of arbitrarily setting fixed rates for your customers, you instead use the standard Intelliprint rates as a starting point and then adjust them according to your desired markup. These standard Intelliprint rates can be found on the pricing page at https://www.intelliprint.net/pricing/

This keeps things simple when the standard Intelliprint prices change. Royal mail prices, for example, are subject to change and therefore so are the underlaying Intelliprint prices.

You can manage your markup in two ways

Default markup – This is your default markup and is applied to each of your customer accounts

Per Customer Markup – This allows you to set a specific markup per customer and overrides the default markup pricing. (See Sub accounts for more information)

Setting your default markup.

  1. Log into your Intelliprint “owner” account. https://dashboard.intelliprint.net
  2. If you have multiple accounts on the same username, please select the relevant account by using the account switcher in the top right
  3. Click Settings
  4. Click Reseller from the left hand menu
  5. From here simply complete the following three fields with your desired markup. Prices should be marked up in pounds and pence.

Per Letter Markup

This is the markup of each single paged letter.

Example: A 1 paged, 2nd Class C5 Letter is currently 53p (at the time of writing, April 2022)
If you were to set the “Per letter” markup to 0.10, your customers would pay 53p + 10p = 63p for a single paged letter. As a reseller, you would be charged 53p and 10p would be the profit you keep.

Per Extra Page Markup

This is the markup for each additional page.

Example: Continuing from the example above.
A 1 paged, 2nd Class C5 Letter is currently 53p (at the time of writing, April 2022)
Each additional page is charged at 3.7p per page

Let’s assume a customer is sending a 10-page letter. }
If you were to set the “Per Extra Page” markup to 0.02, your customers would pay:

53p (current intelliprint base price) +
10p (per letter markup set in previous example) +
33.3p (9 Extra pages, 1st page included free of charge) +
18p (the 0.02p markup set above * 9 pages, the first page is included free of charge)

Total = £1.143

As a reseller, you would pay £0.863 and keep 28p

Per Insert Markup

Inserts are items like return address envelopes and vary in price based on a few different factors. Please contact us directly for more information on this topic.

Sub accounts

Sub accounts are how we refer to your customer accounts. Adding a sub account is simple – all you need to do is provide some basic information about the account, including the company name and optionally add your internal reference. You can then:

  • add or manage users associated with the account
  • view spent amounts
  • view details like total number of jobs submitted,
  • balance debits and credits,
  • and print history.
  • You can even choose to adjust the markup for that particular account, if needed.

Adding a sub account.

  1. Log into your Intelliprint “owner” account. https://dashboard.intelliprint.net
  2. If you have multiple accounts on the same username, please select the relevant account by using the account switcher in the top right
  3. Click Settings
  4. Click Sub-Accounts
  5. Click New
  6. Enter the company name and set any internal reference, if required, and click Create

Each sub account will be displayed in a table, clicking a line item will show settings, usage and billing data for that specific sub account

From the Sub account dashboard, you can:

Sub account Reporting

We offer a full reporting dashboard that gives you important customer insights. You can see how often they use the service, what envelopes they use, what postage classes they tend to use and many other important metrics. This information can help you better understand your customers and how they’re using the service.
